Barrett Summer Scholars
Barrett Summer Scholars helps academically talented and motivated high school students prepare for success at Arizona State University and Barrett, the Honors College. Students engage in college-level coursework and with a community of peers across the state.
For Barrett Summer Scholars, the College of Health Solutions offers an elective course to 10th grade students. The course, Integrated Approaches to Health Care, introduces students to a variety of health care disciplines and settings. Current and futuristic concepts of health care are introduced, as well as multiple health care professions. By the end of the course, students will appreciate the diverse and changing nature of the health care system and the professions within it.
Dates: June 9-13, 2024
Location: In person at the Downtown Phoenix campus
Ages/grades: 10th grade
