Graduate Advising

During your graduate program, you will be supported by both a faculty advisor and a staff advisor, called a graduate support coordinator.

Graduate support coordinator

Your graduate support coordinator is a staff member who supports your academic success, and they are here to help! Email CHSgrad@asu.edu or call 602-496-3300 with questions related to policies and procedures to help you navigate graduate school successfully. This includes questions related to satisfactory academic progress, maintaining continuous enrollment, academic transactions, completing your iPOS, and scheduling defenses.

Faculty advisor

As you progress through your degree program, you will have a faculty advisor or committee chair who will help you identify courses in line with your interests while staying on track toward degree completion. Faculty advisors play a key role in a student’s thesis, capstone project, applied project or dissertation.
