The School of Clinical Health Sciences prepares students for specialized roles across the clinical care continuum, with a focus on diagnostics, communication sciences and behavioral health. Through rigorous, evidence-based training and immersive learning experiences, students develop the technical expertise and clinical judgment needed to assess, diagnose and support diverse patient populations. Emphasizing interdisciplinary collaboration and culturally responsive care, the school equips graduates to contribute to improved patient outcomes, advance clinical practice and meet the evolving demands of modern health care environments.

B. Blair Braden

B. Blair Braden

B. Blair Braden is an Associate Professor in the College of Health Solutions and Director of the Autism and Brain Aging Laboratory. She received her doctorate in behavioral neuroscience - psychology from ASU in 2012. She completed her postdoctoral training in neuroimaging and neuropsychology at Barrow Neurological Institute, St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix.

Ileana Ratiu

Ileana Ratiu

Dr. Ileana Ratiu is a clinical associate professor and program director of the M.S. in Communication Disorders at ASU, specializing in cognitive-communication disorders related to brain injury. Her research integrates behavioral and physiological methods to improve assessment and outcomes, while her leadership advances clinical training, student success and inclusive excellence.

Susan Harrell

Liz Harrell

Susan Harrell is director of Student Health Outreach for Wellness (SHOW) and an assistant clinical professor at ASU, with expertise in psychiatric nursing and interprofessional care. She leads a student-driven initiative delivering free health services to individuals experiencing homelessness while preparing students for collaborative, real-world practice.
