Andrea McDonald

Bachelor of Science in Food and Nutrition Entrepreneurship 2024

Andrea McDonald is an ASU alumna whose love of food and interest in business led her to pursue and graduate with her Bachelor of Science in Food and Nutrition Entrepreneurship in 2024. She is set to complete her second degree from ASU, an MLM in Leadership and Management, in December 2025. The challenging classes she has taken at ASU have shown her the many ways she can apply her degree in her career. The combination of these experiences has led her down the path of hospitality, allowing her to utilize the nutrition knowledge she learned at the College of Health Solutions across different fields, including in schools or hospitals. From a young age, McDonald has had a passion for curling. During her time at ASU, she founded the Sun Devil Curling Club. Her athletic background influenced her understanding of nutrition, and her education assisted her in athletics and, consequently, in competition. In January 2025, she represented Team USA at the FISU World University Games. After this incredible achievement, McDonald has set her sights on competing at the 2034 Winter Olympics. With these accomplishments in hand, McDonald is poised to be a leader across all areas of her life.
