INSPIRE

INSPIRE is a no-cost, college readiness program for American Indian high school students from Tribal Nations in Arizona. During the week, students develop academic and personal success behaviors through culturally relevant, project-based learning while connecting with ASU American Indian students, staff and faculty.

Elective track: SPRINT

For INSPIRE, the College of Health Solutions offers a track to ninth, 10th, 11th and 12th grade students. During students’ daily sessions, a health-focused curriculum allows them to increase their understanding about health and health care through lessons that reflect the perspective of American Indians and relevant cultural concerns. Students engage with local American Indian health professionals and community organizations as they research and create their own solutions to health problems facing their communities.
