Continuing Education Credit

Day 2 of this 2023 Integrated Health Care Conference is approved for up to 5 hours of continuing professional education credit through the ASU Office of Interprofessional Continuing Health Education for medicine, nursing, psychology, social work and interprofessional continuing education. 

  • Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ – CME – 5 credit hours per session)
  • American Nurses Credentialing Center (NCPD – 5 credit hours per session)
  • American Psychological Association (APA – 5 credit hours per session)
  • Association of Social Work Boards (ACE – 5 credit hours per session)
  • Joint Accreditation, Interprofessional Continuing Education (IPCE – 5 credit hours per session)

A single certificate for the entire conference will be offered to participants who plan to seek continuing education credits. Conference participants who seek continuing education credits must attend all sessions and complete the post-conference evaluation to earn CEUs from these organizations:

Individual Accreditation

In support of improving patient care, Arizona State University is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education, the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education, and the American Nurses Credentialing Center to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

American Psychological AssociationAmerican psychological Association

Continuing Education credits for psychologists are provided through the co-sponsorship of the American Psychological Association Office of Continuing Education in Psychology. The APA CEP Office maintains responsibility for the content of the programs.

Association of Social Work BoardsAssociation of Social Work Boards

As a Jointly Accredited Organization, Arizona State University is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards' Approved Continuing Education program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. Arizona State University maintains responsibility for this course. Social workers completing this course receive 5 credit hours of continuing education credits per individual session.
