Warrior Health and Fitness

The Military and Veteran Resilience and Health Collaborative at the College of Health Solutions and Home Base Arizona partnered to provide the Warrior Health and Fitness program for Arizona veterans and their families.

Warrior Health and Fitness is a free, 90-day program designed to improve health and well-being through supervised physical exercise and education on healthy eating, living, stress management and the benefits of physical activity. Veterans and their families have the opportunity to engage with one another and build lasting connections with their peers.

Video Library

The video library was developed to display materials developed from MVRHC projects that promote maintained fitness compliance. There are exercise videos that demonstrate progression levels, pregnancy fitness, and postpartum return to activity. A healthy eating on a budget course provides tips and recipes to promote nutritional value while practicing mindful spending. A trauma training on empathy and compassion among leaders was also developed to promote psychological wellness. To watch these videos, please visit our YouTube channel.
