Faculty award nominations for spring session A!

The Faculty Awards Committee invites all students to nominate an outstanding teacher or distinguished faculty member for either the summer session or fall session A.  The Faculty Awards Committee will request nominations for these two awards again in fall B and spring A/B. 

Here is a description of the two nomination categories:

• Teaching: Teaching strengths can include integrated learning techniques, engagement in the classroom and/or online format, organization, ability to explain difficult concepts, responsiveness, inclusive practices or many other aspects that makes the professor stand out.  
• Distinguished Professor: The professor may excel in teaching but also exhibits other attributes such as enthusiasm for research or scholarly activity, mentorship of students and/or student activities, leader of motivation and innovation and promoter of CHS's mission and vision

There is no set nomination deadline for the session A nominations.   We will be sending out an additional announcement for spring B &C Nominations.  Nominees will be notified prior to, and winners will be announced at the Annual CHS Staff and Faculty Award Celebration in late spring 2023.
