Study abroad in Costa Rica this summer!

February 13, 2023

Visit Monteverde Cloud Forest, Nosara surf town, and a permaculture farm!

Costa Rica is known as a place modern travelers explore wellbeing through practicing yoga, eating healthful foods, and meditating, but did you know that the Nicoya Peninsula in Costa Rica has been leading people to health and happiness for generations? This location is one of the areas of the world where people live especially long lives and are happy about it. Students in this program will learn about what makes the Nicoyans so healthy, how their environment and lifestyles have helped create a high proportion of the world’s “centenarians,” people who live to be 100 years old. We will learn to cook Costa Rican dishes, dance traditional dances, relax like the Nicoyans, and experience the lifestyle that has brought health and happiness for generations!

You can review the program’s web brochure and apply to the program here. March 1, 2023 is the application deadline.
