The ASU undergraduate and graduate Commencement ceremonies will take place Monday, Dec.16, 2024. Please check graduation.asu.edu for updates and details about additional ceremonies you are invited to attend.
Convocation ceremonies are celebrations of graduating College of Health Solutions students and their achievements. Convocation is a big event, but it is more intimate and familiar for College of Health Solutions students than ASU Commencement. Convocation is a high-spirited celebration of our graduating students where faculty and college leadership will be in attendance to recognize our Health Solutions grads. During Convocation, College of Health Solutions graduates are individually recognized for their academic achievement, including crossing the stage while their name is read.

University commencement and convocation ceremonies are special events for all involved. Please show respect for everyone who has come to share in the experience. Individuals who engage in inappropriate or disruptive behavior may be removed from the event. As a courtesy to those around you and to our graduating students, please turn off all electronic devices and phones during the ceremony. Only working staff, graduating students and authorized guests are allowed in the graduate and staff entry points, or on the floor or field near graduate seating and the stage. This restriction applies to Gammage Auditorium, Desert Financial Arena, Sun Devil Stadium or other ceremony venues.
All graduates, faculty, staff and guests will go through security, including a bag check, when entering the arena. Graduates and faculty must carry their gowns when clearing security. Gowns may be put on after clearing security. Banners and/or signs of any shape and size are not permitted inside the venue. Please plan for lines at the security check and plan your arrival accordingly.
Graduate names will not be announced during College of Health Solutions Convocation unless the graduate attends the ceremony. Graduates must be wearing regalia in order to participate in graduation ceremonies. Learn how to wear your cap and gown!
In order to participate in Convocation, we require all graduates to register for the ceremony. There is no cost to register. Even if you do not plan on attending, we strongly encourage you to register in case you — or your family and friends — change your mind about participating.
Fall 2024 registration deadline: Nov. 12, 2024
Get everything you need for graduation online at the ASU Grad Fair. Grad Fair is the only time to get discounts on graduation packages. On Oct. 4, look for a unique link in your asu.edu email to join virtually. After Grad Fair, regalia may be purchased for full price through Sun Devil Campus Stores. On the day of graduation, you can buy your ASU regalia in Desert Financial Arena and Mountain America Stadium.
