Participate in a research study

Do you want to support or benefit from current health research? Members of the general public can join our research participant registry. The registry collects information about people who are interested in participating in studies being conducted by researchers at the College of Health Solutions at Arizona State University.

The general information we request includes your name, age and contact information. When registering, you may be asked to provide specific information about any health conditions. You can also specify your interest in particular areas of research. Parents and guardians may enroll their children in the research registry.

Advantages of joining our research registry include:

  • Learning more about studies being conducted by Health Solutions researchers.
  • Having the opportunity to try new interventions and treatments in development.
  • In some cases, the opportunity to receive financial compensation for your time and efforts.

All information you provide is confidential. The information is accessible only to trained ASU research staff. The information will not be used for any other purpose other than connecting you with researchers in the College of Health Solutions.

If one of your areas of interest matches with a current research study, a research coordinator from the College of Health Solutions will contact you to give you more information about the study. You will be given the opportunity to ask questions and to discuss the study procedures. This is called the “informed consent” process. You will not be pushed or rushed at any point. Your participation is voluntary and you can change your mind at any time. If you wish to unsubscribe from the registry, please send an email to research.registry@asu.edu.
