Better health outcomes require better solutions.
At ASU’s College of Health Solutions, we are on a mission to improve health outcomes. To focus our efforts on some of the most pressing health problems facing Arizona and beyond, we are working to make an impact with two Grand Challenges, both complex and difficult health problems which require translational research, transformative collaboration and innovation. Our Grand Challenges: Addressing the systems of health care and the health needs of populations; and optimizing health and human performance of individuals across the lifespan. From faculty to students, all are encouraged to contribute forward-thinking research and ideas to solve our Grand Challenges, particularly when it comes to making an impact on populations with significant health disparities.
That’s because, at our college, we are highly collaborative, transparent and team-oriented. Our innovative organization includes translational teams that move science from labs into communities with evidence-based interventions that make a difference, as well as affinity networks where teams of people work together to improve methodologies and processes. All of our programs, in and out of the classroom, are designed with the goal of improving the health of people and communities.
We seek candidates who will advance our interdisciplinary research, educate future health leaders, and reimagine health to create a better future for people and communities. Successful candidates will be energized by our innovative New American University that is dedicated to the pursuit of excellence, broad access to quality education, and meaningful societal impact.
