Leveraging technology with indigenous knowledges for health and education
The 2025 DRIC Conference, co-sponsored by the American Indian Studies Program, the Center for Indian Education, the Labriola National American Indian Data Center and ASU’s Office of Tribal Nations Advancement and Indigenous Futures, is a gathering place for visionaries, leaders and learners. Each year, tribal leaders, researchers, students, policy practitioners and educators come together to imagine new possibilities where technology and Indigenous knowledges work hand in hand. Rooted in sovereignty and guided by community values, the conference highlights how innovation can strengthen governance, transform education and advance health equity across Indian Country.

This year’s theme affirms the power and promise of bringing technology and Indigenous knowledges together to transform health and education. It reflects a shared commitment to innovation rooted in sovereignty, resilience and community well-being, while inspiring students, scholars and leaders to build pathways toward healthier, more equitable futures.
Registration
The no-cost conference is open to students, researchers and community members interested in Indigenous research issues and opportunities. Programming is designed to encourage collaboration, dialogue and a call to action.
