Admission requirements

Incompatible Majors: BS in science of health care delivery; BS in health sciences

Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.00 in order to add the certificate, and students must earn a minimum grade of "C" in all courses for the certificate.

A student pursuing an undergraduate certificate must be enrolled as a degree-seeking student at ASU. Undergraduate certificates are not awarded prior to the award of an undergraduate degree. A student already holding an undergraduate degree may pursue an undergraduate certificate as a nondegree-seeking graduate student.

Program requirements

The certificate requires a total of 18 credit hours. A minimum grade of "C" (2.00 on a 4.00 scale) is required for each course.

In order to enroll in HCD 402 and complete the certificate, students must first complete either ECN 211, ECN 212 or HCD 201.
