Kitchen Café

Open for breakfast and lunch

Open during the fall and spring semesters, Kitchen Café is a not-for-profit eatery that trains  nutrition students enrolled in the Management of Food Service Systems course in the College of Health Solutions. Students hand-prepare, cook and serve meals to the general public at a reasonable price under the supervision of Chef Kenneth Moody, our instructional retail kitchen coordinator.

All meals are prepared in the state-of-the-art, energy efficient and environmentally sound Nutritional Instructional Kitchens, which are attached to the café. Patrons of Kitchen Café enjoy tasty food, often following a specific theme, as they help teach students about food preparation, retail service and business operations.
