Develop into a more inclusive and experienced fitness and health professional and help decrease the help disparities experienced by people with disabilities. In this course you provide exercise interventions to people with developmental, physical, and neurological conditions, and you will be paired one-on-one or two-on-one with community members with a disability, to provide a semester-long comprehensive fitness program. This course will also include a classroom component where you will learn about pathophysiology, heath-related physical fitness testing, adaptive exercise programming, and effective communication skills.
