CHS 280 - Citizen Science and Research - Experiential Community Health and Research - Translational Team

Participate in a College of Health Solutions Translational Team focused on solving a health problem in the community. Translational teams are made up of researchers, clinicians, community partners, government leaders, industry innovators and students who are eager to translate research into action. These transdisciplinary teams are focused on deeply understanding a health challenge, developing a solution and following the solution through to its outcome. The end result is the development of practical solutions that improve people’s daily lives and the overall health of our communities.

Students may assist the team in a range of research activities including working directly with research teams, data collection and management, field and programmatic activities and more. Involvement varies by team and semester.
