Gain hands-on health experience before you graduate

Your experiential learning credit is required

At the College of Health Solutions, you get hands-on experience in the health field before you even graduate. It's all part of the experiential learning credit that's required for every Health Solutions undergrad - even our online students can participate!

We encourage students to pursue a variety of professional development opportunities throughout their time at the College of Health Solutions, including positions that may not be eligible for academic credit.

September 25, 2024	Pre-internship information session	3 p.m.
October 11, 2024	Pre-Health Internship Program application deadline
October 17, 2024	Pre-internship information session	2 p.m.
October 22, 2024	Internship Fair	11 a.m.
October 29, 2024	Pre-internship information session	1 p.m.
November 1, 2024	Students are strongly encouraged to send out resumes to internship sites before this date.
November 15, 2024	Application deadline for Pre-Internship Petitions (PIP) Use the PIP form found in the College of Health Solutions Placements database to request the use of your current health related employment as an internship or to request a new internship site not located in the College of Health Solutions Placements database.
December 27, 2024	Last day to submit Internship Learning Agreement (ILA) for spring internships
January 13, 2025	First day of work at internship site
May 2, 2025	Last day of work at internship site

Summer 2025

Begin by: January 13, 2025	Review ASU Career Services resources and schedule an appointment with career staff to assist with updating your resume, developing an outreach plan, and more.
Begin by: January 22, 2025	Opportunities will open on a rolling basis throughout the semester. Some summer internships may have earlier deadlines. Students are strongly encouraged to apply to potential sites at least six weeks before the Pre-Internship Petitions (PIP) deadline.
