6th annual Food and Thought community event

Women in food and agriculture

Farm to table. School gardens. Food and nutrition advocacy. The conversation surrounding food these days is more than just what’s for dinner, and women are key players driving innovation in every aspect of our food systems.

Join us for a discussion led by some of the leading food entrepreneurs and innovators in the Phoenix metro area while you sample some of Arizona’s eclectic cuisine at this free event:

  • Sara Dolan, farm manager, Blue Sky Organic Farms
  • Patricia Johnson, vice president of nutrition services, Fuel Up to Play 60
  • Ashley Schimke, National farm-to-school network specialist, Arizona Department of Education
  • Adrienne Udarbe, executive director, Pinnacle Prevention
