Today’s complex health care environments are examined using a case-based, solution-oriented approach. Faculty are experts in their fields with a breadth of knowledge, research and experience to share with students. Courses for the science of health care delivery and health informatics develop the skills and knowledge necessary for leadership within a changing health care environment.
Health informatics combines information technology, computer science and knowledge management to improve health. Master’s courses cover key topics such as fundamentals, database modeling, workflow analysis, clinical decision support and change management.

The master’s program in the science of health care delivery focuses on the study and design of the systems, processes, leadership and management used to optimize delivery of health care, with featured courses on health care systems, health economics and payment models, management, finance and process engineering.
