Biography
I began working at ASU's College of Health Solutions in January 2017. The goals of my research are to prevent and control cancers caused by human papillomavirus (HPV) and reduce cancer disparities caused by this incredibly common infection.
My research is interdisciplinary by nature, and I work on teams to promote 1) primary prevention of HPV-related cancers (via the uptake and completion of the HPV vaccine) and 2) secondary prevention (via cancer screening). These research teams span various institutions, healthcare facilities, and academic disciplines to aid in the prevention of these potentially preventable cancers.
