Health Sciences and Medical Studies

ASU’s College of Health Solutions prepares today’s students for success in health fields, professional schools, and medical school with programs in health sciences and medical studies. Health sciences encompasses the study of health care and its application to improve health, manage disease and understand how humans function, while medical studies provides a foundation in medical knowledge relevant to those interested in a career of health care practice across a variety of disciplines. Our degree programs ensure that students have the prerequisites needed for their applications to medical, professional and graduate schools. Graduates go on to pursue opportunities as medical doctors, dentists, physician assistants, occupational therapists, chiropractors, naturopathic doctors, optometrists, pharmacists and podiatrists. Those not pursuing professional school are qualified for work in community health, medical device and pharmaceutical sales, and medical and health services.
