Model Driven, Visual (Rule) Editor

In the context of the SHARPC-2b project, we are developing a model driven, visual editor which will be, at least initially, aimed at authoring clinical artifacts (e.g. rules and ordersets). The editor is targeted at subject matter experts in medicine, whose background may not be technical, so it will use a combination of automated reasoning and visual metaphors to assist the users during the authoring and editing process. More specifically, it will allow to author artifacts, customize them with the addition of "setting-specific factors" to facilitate their adoption in particular contexts and eventually export them using a variety of interchange, integration and execution formats, including the upcoming HeD standard.
