Degree Programs in Health Sciences and Medical Studies

Our bachelor’s degrees in health sciences and medical studies cover a comprehensive curriculum, preparing students for their future as innovative health professionals with education in leadership, communication, ethics, health care systems, and a broad spectrum of science courses. Students can earn a bachelor’s degree in health sciences at ASU’s Downtown Phoenix and West campuses, or opt for the healthy lifestyles coaching concentration within the health sciences bachelor’s degree program through ASU Online or at the Downtown Phoenix campus. Our bachelor’s degree and minor in medical studies is available at both the Downtown Phoenix and West campuses.

Tracks within the medical studies bachelor’s degree enable students to pursue the health field that most interests them, including occupational therapy, pharmacy, medicine (MD and DO), optometry, dentistry, or physician assistance. Our tracks within the health sciences degree provide options to develop a deep understanding of current health care systems and needs, as well as an opportunity for a limited number of students to pursue an echocardiography certificate each year through the Mayo Clinic.
