Penny Goodman has worked as a clinical social worker in the behavioral health field for more than 20 years, working with diverse populations at various agencies and in private practice. Originally from New York, Goodman developed her interest in integrated behavioral health after she relocated to Arizona in 1997. She has worked in a federally qualified health center since 2004, providing integrated behavioral health care in a primary care setting. Entering the program with the first cohort, she received the Doctorate of Behavioral Health degree from Arizona State University in 2011.
