Pre-Health Advisors

Nate Wade

Nate Wade

Nate Wade joined ASU's College of Health Solutions in August 2013 and currently serves as the Senior Director for Academic Services for Pre-Health Professions at the Downtown Phoenix campus. He also advises the AMSA/Pre-Health Club DPC and oversees the Summer Health Institute @ ASU. Prior to arriving at ASU, Nate was a Program Director for science academic advising within the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Before becoming an academic advisor, Nate was a Residence Life Coordinator for a co-ed, freshmen residential college at Louisiana State University. Nate has earned a Master’s in Public Administration, a Master’s of Education in Counseling Student Services, and a Graduate Certificate in Translational and Molecular Sciences. He is currently earning his PhD in Human and Social Dimensions of Science and Technology at ASU. Nate has a wealth of experience working with students in the STEM disciplines, developing innovative engagement opportunities, and advising students in the pre-health professions.

Katie Isaac

Katie Isaac

Katie Isaac comes to ASU's Downtown Phoenix Campus from the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix. At the College of Medicine, Katie worked in the Office of Admissions & Recruitment as a Program Coordinator of Applicant Engagement organizing Multiple Mini-Interviews, Second Look Weekend, White Coat Ceremony and assisting with the screening of applicants. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Speech Sciences & Technologies at Northern Arizona University and is currently enrolled in ASU's Master of Education in Higher and Postsecondary Education. Katie is excited to continue helping students pursue a career in the health professions.
