Biography

Megan Anne Phillips is currently an instructor and faculty research associate at the College of Health Solutions at Arizona State University. She is an ASU and Barrett, the Honors College graduate with a master's degree in the science of health care delivery and a bachelor's degree in global health. At the ASU College of Health Solutions, Ms. Phillips teaches undergraduate and graduate students in a variety of classes such as health systems and design, health disparities and population health. Ms. Phillips general research interests include public and population health, health policy, and health law. Her primary graduate and post-graduate research involves policy and programmatic analyses of suicide prevention programs for Arizona service members, veterans, and family members in collaboration with the Phoenix Veterans Affairs (VA) Health Care System and previously with the Office of U.S. Senator John McCain. Ms. Phillips also enjoys volunteering with Student Health Outreach for Wellness (SHOW), a student-led community initiative providing free health care and outreach for individuals experiencing homelessness and substance use disorders in the Phoenix, Arizona area.
