Marissa graduated from ASU in Spring 2016 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Tourism Development and Management while consecutively earning a certificate in Special Event Management and a certificate in Convention Sales and Meeting Planning. During her undergraduate program, she worked for the University Office of Special Events and took part in many key events such as ASU Night of the Open Door and Devils on College. After graduation, Marissa worked at Classic Party Rentals for two years and was the Event Consultant assigned to work with ASU. Not only did she learn the ins and outs of the rental business, but her knowledge of events executed by other ASU Event Coordinators also expanded. A true Sun Devil at heart, Marissa returned to ASU in February of 2018 and now works for the College of Health Solutions as the Senior Event Coordinator and is completed her Master's of Science in Community Resources and Development in Spring 2019. Her applied project was a Program Evaluation of the Special Events Management Certificate Program offered through Watt's College of Public Service and Community Solutions.

In her current role as Senior Events Coordinator for the College of Health Solutions, Marissa plans and executes a variety of events for CHS, including conferences, lecture series, Homecoming and Family Weekend programming.
