Lee Ann Del Carpio is an expert in global leadership development, an executive coach and a sought-after facilitator of strategic cultural change. For more than 20 years, Del Carpio has worked with global executives and organizations across many industries to clarify strategic focus, engage people across boundaries, and build the versatile, integrated leadership capacities necessary to deliver results in the midst of a volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous business environment.
By choosing the path of practitioner, and serving in both internal and external roles at the nexus of strategy, culture and leadership, Del Carpio has developed deep, practical experience in leadership development, organizational change, and what it takes to build cultures of agility and courage. Her current areas of focus include the “exponential leadership” mindsets and skillsets needed to respond to ongoing market disruption in an increasingly distributed, mobile, intelligent and participatory world.
Del Carpio currently serves as president of Inner Power International, and has worked with clients across a variety of industries, including: Amway, Avon Products, Inc., Blue Cross Blue Shield, Chevron, FCA Group (formerly Chrysler Group), Exxon Mobil, FMC, General Electric (GE International, GE Plastics, GE Capital), The Hershey Company, Kaiser Permanente, Kamehameha Schools, The Mayo Clinic, Merck Group, Northrop Grumman, Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics (WWL), and Wilh. Wilhelmsen. She has lived on three continents, and coached or trained leaders from more than 50 countries worldwide.
Throughout her career, Del Carpio has held a variety of positions in global organizational effectiveness, including executive director of organizational effectiveness at Kaiser Permanente, director of leadership development at Sapient Corporation, and senior manager supporting worldwide global leadership development at Avon Products, Inc.
Del Carpio holds a Master’s degree in intercultural management from the School for International Training in Vermont, and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in international studies and political science from Miami University in Ohio. She also is a graduate of Coach University, a Master Trainer of InsideOut Coaching, and has been certified in several coaching models and many leadership assessments including the Leadership Versatility Index (LVI), the Cultural Orientations Indicator (COI), the Global Mindset Inventory (GMI), and the Hogan Assessment Suite. She speaks English, as well as some French and Japanese.
