Karina is now a two-time alumna, having earned both a B.A.E. in Elementary Education and a M.Ed. in Higher and Postsecondary Education. After graduating, her love for ASU led her to begin her career in 2009 as an Assistant Community Director with University Housing, working at both the West and Tempe campuses. Karina transitioned to become an advisor atthe Downtown campus and the School of Nutrition and Health Promotion in 2011. Her role in the school and within the College of Health Solutions has expanded to include being the college lead for new student orientations, spirit captain of the academic services office, overseeing all residential college efforts for the college, and overseeing peer leaders who facilitate CHS 101 for the college.
