Joshua Breger

Joshua Breger is a clinical assistant professor in the College of Health Solutions at Arizona State University and director of the college’s Speech & Hearing Clinic. Breger brings a wealth of medical and critical care experience from many years as a speech-language pathologist (SLP) and rehabilitation clinic director in Phoenix-area hospitals and clinics.  

Breger graduated from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and received his master’s degree from Ithaca College in 2006. He has been providing services in a Level 1 Trauma Hospital for the past four years, and has worked with adults across a wide variety of settings. He specializes in swallowing disorders (dysphagia), and has advanced training in modified barium swallow (MBS) and flexible endoscopic evaluation of swallowing (FEES) studies.
