The online Master of Science in the science of health care delivery (SHCD) at Arizona State University (ASU) is designed to provide knowledge and competencies for physician students to contribute effectively in a patient-centered, safe and cost-effective health care system. Focusing on high-value team-based patient care, the MS in SHCD curriculum provides the tools necessary to lead and manage in today’s evolving healthcare market.
The MS in SHCD at Arizona State University offers asynchronous flexibility to pursue the degree entirely online and at your own pace. With this unique degree program, physicians and health care professionals examine today's complex healthcare environments utilizing a case-based, solution-oriented approach to facilitate the integration of knowledge and competencies. The curriculum includes courses such as Health Care Systems and Design; Health Economics, Policy and Payment Methods; and Leading Change in Health Organizational Systems.
