Austin Gutierrez, BS biomedical informatics '19, co-authored his first publication: Single-cell RNA sequencing reveals profibrotic roles of distinct epithelial and mesenchymal lineages in pulmonary fibrosis. It was featured as the cover story for Science Advances, a peer reviewed scientific journal.

Dr. Danielle Gold, DBH ’14, started Fearless Planet, a nonprofit that promotes economic advancement for low-income women while incorporating health and education initiatives. In addition to this work, she currently serves as the director of student counseling at American University of Antigua College of Medicine.
