The Wakonse Fellowship in Arizona.

Communication Studies Faculty Associate, Dr. Jodi Decker, has been selected to attend The Wakonse Fellowship in Arizona. This event brings together faculty, teaching and learning professionals from Arizona's postsecondary institutions who recognize and are devoted to the inspirational aspect of the teaching and learning process. The event takes place in Flagstaff from May 15-18.

Carla Fisher is from Penn State and will be teaching Applied Interpersonal Communication. Judd Ruggill, Ph.D., is from the University of Arizona and will be teaching New Media.

The Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies provide students with a broad-based degree applicable to a variety of professional settings. Both students and organizations have come to recognize the valuable skill set acquired within a communication studies degree program. It is now one of the most popular degree programs nationally among students and not surprisingly one of the most sought after by employers. Graduates are highly employable because they communicate effectively, analyze messages and processes successfully, manage relationships well, and excel in positions of leadership. The curriculum also provides sound preparation for law school and graduate school in a host of disciplines. Program content and faculty expertise encompass relational and organizational communication, public relations, and media studies.
