Thank you for considering a Master's degree in Aging and Lifespan Development!
This degree is designed for the professional who is, or will be, working with an aging population, or for an organization that serves older adults. Whether your career is directly related to aging – such as Manager of a Senior Center, or Activities Director at a care facility – or your client base is mostly older adults – such as Financial Planners, Occupational Therapists, or Interior Designers for adult communities – this degree will meet your needs! Of the six elective courses required in the program, up to three of them can be taken in a completely different academic area – perhaps Marketing, or Social Work, or Recreation and Tourism. We will work with you to design the best program of study to meet your needs.
See our Program Requirements for more information.
While many of our courses are offered on-line, this is not an on-line program. Some courses are only offered in the classroom, and most of the on-line courses require students to take the tests at the ASU West campus.
We look forward to hearing from you, and learning about your particular interests in Aging and Lifespan Development!
